RCY= RED CROSS YOUTH

*I posted one on this blog but it looks like my blog doesn't like me as it just kept on lagging*

Hmmph!

I attended RCY camp as I am a cadet in Red Cross and in fact, it is my CCA. This camp really help me in building up my confidence level as I volunteered to be the host even though I failed to be a good one.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!

Anyways, I learnt more about the footdrill like marching, turning and we even had a ceremony just now. By the way, I guess that I am officially a cadet after the ceremony.

There were also good times. Tiara and Rafie are my two close friends and we're even from the same mothertongue class. We sat together during recess but sometimes our recess could be at different timings and I would be alone.

Rafie made me laugh so hard that I couldn't stop and I Hyperventilate. I literally couldn't feel like I am breathing and I kept on laughing for no reason. Just kept doing that to the extent which my heart aches.

Ouch.

Tiara kept on ordering me to stop laughing as she was so concerned about me. Whenever I had calmed down and I saw something funny, I'll laugh again and she'll be like,

"Mairah, stoooop..."

Geez, I have no idea why did I laugh.

I find that both the Sec 3s and 4s sirs and ma'ams really proved that they can be a role model to the juniors which is the Sec 2s and of course Sec 1s. I really appreciate their efforts in trying to get the camp going smoothly despite the fact that there are some unpleasant scenes like scoldings which I predict It is very common. Everyone will get scolded in their life.

We just need to learn from our mistake, suck it up, and move on. Well, of course it might be difficult for us to digest everything as we need someone to talk to and vent our anger towards the person who scolded us to others but not literally, just talk. This is normal. After that, we'll be alright.

Going back to the camp, I forged new friendships with most of the cadets like Pravin (sir) , Jeremy (sir) , Yan Yang (sir) -I hope this is the correct spelling of your name, Mina (ma'am) , Adam , Hayley , Brendan and more.

Lastly, I want to thank all the sirs and ma'ams including the teachers for the hardwork in making sure that this camp went well, and that everything was planned well.
